To play this text adventure interactive fiction computer game, type in commands like GO NORTH and DRINK BLOOD and so on. Explore the zoo. Have fun.
You play as Lephrea the vampire and your job is to forge an alliance with the animals of the Kansas City Zoo but you can't talk to animals except snakes so you must rely on your possessed Ouija board to tell you what each animal wants but the Ouija board only communicates in cryptic riddles and specifically in cryptic crossword clues but if you keep using the HINT command then Lephrea will explain more and more of each clue to you.
The main part of the game proceeds thus:
- Go inside the barn, take the popcorn.
- The clue for the giraffe is JOHN PAUL II CURTAILED INAUGURAL CELEBRATION OVER REALLY NASTY FOOD (7). Give the POPCORN to the giraffe and get the magazine.

- The clue for the toucan is ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS' SUMMIT IN MONACO IN SHAMBLES. The mirror can act as a COMPANION for the bird, so hand it over. This causes the orangutans to unlock the Great Ape House.
Inside the Ape House, the Ouija board presents seven more clues:
