Day 30 - METAPUZZLE: "Push"

Well, we both messed up. I was supposed to keep track of all the neat places we visited—and I did, but these are clearly out of order:

• In Chicago, you can obtain an elevated train.
• In Cleveland, you can exchange a physical object for something else that's basically the same. Don't overthink it.
• In London, you can exchange a sport for a venue.
• In Minneapolis/St. Paul, you can exchange the first half of "X & Y" for the second half.
• In New York City, you can exchange a cast member's last name for their first name.
• In Philadelphia, you can exchange an Always Sunny cast member's first name for their character's name.
• In Phoenix, you can get anything defrosted.
• In Washington, DC, you can exchange half of something for the other half.

You were supposed to keep track of all the cool deals we struck and modifications we made—and you did, but you're definitely missing two items! And the ones you do have are out of order!

All I remember for sure is that we started out with PUSH.

Hints: If you have enough answers from this round, you probably see some connections between them. Try to use the cities to form a chain of words from PUSH to something else, to something else, to something else... To use every destination on the list, you'll have to add two words that you didn't start out with.
