Day 2: "Rhyme"

At the request of Princess Rhyme and Princess Reason, Milo returned to the Kingdom of Wisdom to address something dreadfully important.

"Our subjects are benighted by a strange obscurity," Rhyme explained, in iambic heptameter. "The cause of their impairment is a clouded mystery."

"We should like you to make another survey of our realm, Milo, and examine the areas affected by this inexplicable affliction," said Reason. "These areas are, in roughly alphabetical order..."

"Hold on," said Milo. "Let me pull up a map first."

So they waited for him to do that.

"OK, go ahead," said Milo. And Princess Reason read off the list:

"Now haste, away! Make no delay embarking on your mission! Get in your car, and learn what bar impedes our subjects' vision!" enjoined Rhyme, not quite sticking the dismount.

"I think I may already have it figured out," said Milo.

Hints: These are characters and locations from The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. If you haven't read it, then, I can think of something that would be better worth your time than solving my dumb puzzles. There is a big cool map in that book. Each item on the list can be taken to indicate one or more squares of that map.Try shading in those squares. You can use a Sharpie in a copy you borrowed from the library. Since Rhyme and Reason are talking about impaired vision, you should interpret the shaded squares as Braille.
