Day 1: "Initial"

INITIAL seems like a pretty good place to start. But where do we go from here?

1. Add a scantily-clad invader girl, then anagram to get a secret society.
2. Subtract a word for "diseased" and a urinary tract infection to get a Dracula character.
3. Prepend Russia and append tellurium to get a word for "ponder."
4. Replace a registered nurse with a lieutenant, then anagram to get a superlative.

Hints: The scantily-clad invader girl is Lum from Urusei Yatsura. I tried to use clues for "initials" wherever I could, to be thematic, but there's only so much I could do. There are some non-initial abbreviations and some non-abbreviation clues. I'm supposed to make this whole puzzle in one day! The word you should get after the first step is ILLUMINATI.
