Nyvo the Dolphin

Good evening. My name is Sam J Benjamin.

In Nyvo the Dolphin, a dolphin named Nyvo explores a grisly shipwreck. To begin the main part of the story, you must reach the shipwreck using commands like swim, go north, swim north, look at shape, go to shipwreck, enter shipwreck, or things like that.

The layout of the ship is very disorienting. Locations are connected to each other in bizarre and unintuitive ways. At first, you will feel the same hollow sense of despair that Nyvo feels as he attempts to navigate the grotesque hulk of the Znagnos. However, if you pay careful attention or draw a map, you will come to master the story's environment in the same way Nyvo does.

Here are some hints for the game, presented in roughly the order you should worry about each issue.

What do I do with the screaming skeleton in the hospital cell?
Just talk to it.

How do I open the one unbroken vitrine in the surgical theater?
Scream at it, if you know how.

How do I activate the machine in the prosthetics lab?
Nyvo can turn this machine on easily, once he knows how to read the instructions.

How do I open the steel case on the bridge?
All you need is a hand.

How do I open the red security doors?
Each security door has a control panel with a laser receptor. Aim a laser at the receptor.

How do I remove a pile of rubble?
Shoot a missile at it.

What is to be done in the engine core?
If you go on shooting as many missiles at Thasorcneus as you can, the story will turn out slightly differently.
